Electric fused magnesia sand is made of selected special A-grade natural magnesite or high purity lightly burned magnesium particles, melted in an electric arc furnace. The product has high purity, large crystalline grain, dense structure, strong slag resistance material, good thermal shock stability, is an excellent high-temperature electrical insulation material, and is also an important raw material for making high-grade magnesia bricks, magnesia carbon bricks, and unshaped refractory materials.
